STAINLESS STEEL EFW PIPES

This specification cover electric-fusion-welded austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel pipe suitable for corrosive or high-temperature service, or both, or for general applications. The pipes come in five classes Stainless Steel pipe (Welded) 10" TO 24" NB. In schedule 5, schedule 10, schedule 20, schedule 40 and also Special wall thickness are produced as per ASTM A358 by TIG welding ANS filler material is used.
ASTM A358 Class1 EFW Pipes:
Pipe is doublewelded by processes employing filler metal in all passes and are completely radiographed.
ASTM A358 Class2 EFW Pipes::
Pipe is double welded by processes employing filler metal in all passes without radiography
ASTM A358 Class3 EFW Pipes::
Pipe is single welded by processes employing filler metal in all passes and are completely radiographed.
ASTM A358 Class4 EFW Pipes::
Same as Class 3 except that the weld pass exposed to the inside pipe surface may be made without the addition of filler metal.
ASTM A358 Class5 EFW Pipes::
Pipe is double welded by processes employing filler metal in all passes and is spot radiographed.

High-temperature and general corrosive service
